> CapsAI (https://capsai.co) is a browser-based AI caption and subtitle generator for video creators, focused on Hinglish, Hindi, English and regional Indian languages. Upload an MP4 or MOV video, choose the spoken language, review and edit the generated captions (text, timing and style), and export an MP4 with the captions burned in.

## Product facts
- Upload: MP4 or MOV video files, one video at a time. Pasting a video URL is not part of the caption workflow.
- Spoken-language options: Hinglish, English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Punjabi.
- Editing: caption text, timing and visual style can be changed before export.
- Export: MP4 with burned captions. Export options depend on the editor workflow and the user's current plan. Downloading edited captions as SRT or VTT files is not currently available in the editor.
- Free usage: 3 free minutes. Watermark-free video export is listed as a paid-plan benefit.
- Paid plans: one-time packs, no subscription. ₹49 (20 upload minutes), ₹99 (60 upload minutes), ₹299 (180 upload minutes).
- Not currently available: batch processing, live captioning, automatic subtitle translation, a public REST API (agents use the MCP server below), native iOS or Android apps, Malayalam or Odia transcription.
