Why it works

A visual system connected to editable captions

Respect each script

Indian scripts have different shaping, width and vertical-space requirements.

Verify actual support

A font name is useful only when the exact file contains the required glyphs.

Design for mobile

Test script details after video compression at normal phone size.

Product workflow

How to use this caption approach

  1. 01

    Identify every script

List the languages, English terms, numerals and symbols in the captions.

  2. 02

    Verify font coverage

Test representative glyphs and conjuncts in the production renderer.

  3. 03

    Tune spacing

Set weight, line height and outline for that script.

  4. 04

    Export a sample

Review real pixels across mobile and desktop.

What this preview proves, and what you still control

The video above is a real interactive style preview, not a promise that every source clip will need identical settings. It demonstrates how timed words, emphasis and a selected preset can work together. Your uploaded video still needs its own transcription review, contrast check and placement decisions.

After upload, CapsAI creates the editable caption layer used by the editor. Check the spoken words first, especially names, brands, numbers and specialist terms. Then review where each phrase starts and ends. Styling a mistaken transcript only makes the mistake more visible.

Finally, judge the design against the complete video rather than one attractive frame. A white caption may be clear over a dark scene and disappear over the next bright shot. Position can also collide with faces, product details or platform controls as the footage changes.

Caption review checklist

Use this short quality pass before rendering a full video. It keeps the visual treatment connected to readable, accurate captions.

  • Play the clip at normal speed and verify every emphasized word.
  • Keep most caption groups to one or two readable lines.
  • Check contrast over both the brightest and darkest scenes.
  • Protect faces, product details and platform interface safe zones.
  • Review the longest name, number and mixed-language phrase.
  • Watch the final export on a phone before publishing.

Use cases

Where this visual format fits

Regional creator content

Keep native-script captions readable over social video.

Multilingual interviews

Plan fallbacks for more than one script.

Education and news

Use stable typography for information-dense captions.

One font does not automatically fit every script

Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Gurmukhi and Urdu use different glyph structures and shaping behavior. Confirm support for each script rather than relying on a Latin font name.

Urdu also needs correct right-to-left layout, while Indic scripts need enough vertical room for marks and conjunct forms.

Build a production font test

Create a specimen containing common letters, difficult combinations, punctuation, numerals, English terms and the longest expected line. Render it through the same environment used for export.

Record the approved font file, license, weight, line height and outline settings so future projects start from a tested baseline.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Some large Unicode families cover many scripts, but coverage, shaping and visual quality must be verified for each exact font file and renderer.
