A Diveo Alternative for Hinglish and Indian-Language Captions

Diveo is a browser tool that adds one-click subtitles to TikTok, Reels and Shorts. In India it shows rupee prices: a free plan with 3 exports a month, then Starter at ₹375 a month and Pro at ₹575 a month. Both paid plans give unlimited videos but cap how long each video can be, at 1 minute on Starter and 5 minutes on Pro. CapsAI charges for minutes instead. You buy a one-time pack from ₹49, nothing renews, each upload can run up to 10 minutes, and you get 11 spoken languages, from Hinglish and Hindi to Tamil, Telugu and Bengali. Both run in a phone or desktop browser and burn the captions into the video. This page sets them side by side, with every figure taken from the two websites on 15 October 2026, and says plainly where Diveo is the better pick.

Diveo figures are from diveo.io (homepage, pricing section, FAQ and the language list in its web app) and CapsAI figures from capsai.co/pricing, all checked on 15 October 2026. Diveo shows rupee prices to visitors in India. Its Free plan card lists no watermarks and 3 exports a month, while its FAQ says upgrading removes the watermark and gives the free plan 10 minutes a month; export a test clip before relying on either. CapsAI cost per minute is the pack price divided by its minutes. Plans change, so check both pricing pages before you buy.

How it works

How it works

  1. Step 1

Pick a clip under a minute

Diveo's Free and Starter plans take videos up to 1 minute, so a short Hinglish Reel gives you a like-for-like test.

  2. Step 2

    Choose Hinglish in both

Hinglish is preselected when you start from this page. In Diveo, pick Hinglish from its language menu.

  3. Step 3

    Count the fixes

Read both drafts and count the words you had to change: names, numbers, slang and English words dropped mid-sentence.

  4. Step 4

Export and watch on your phone

Download the MP4 from each and play both on your phone. Check that the captions sit clear of the app buttons. CapsAI's 3 free minutes cover the whole test.

Questions

Is CapsAI cheaper than Diveo?

It depends on how much you caption. Diveo Starter is ₹375 for a month, or ₹3,750 for a year, which is about ₹313 a month. On CapsAI, ₹299 buys 180 minutes and ₹348 buys 200 minutes (one Pro pack and one Starter pack), with nothing renewing after that. CapsAI costs less if you caption up to about 200 minutes a month against Diveo's monthly price, or up to about 180 minutes against its yearly price. If you post seven or more one-minute clips every day, Diveo's flat fee works out cheaper. Prices as of 15 October 2026.

Does Diveo do Hinglish?

Hinglish is in Diveo's language menu, next to Hindi and English (India). Its editor needs a sign-in, so we did not test the output. On CapsAI, choosing Hinglish gives Roman script with English words kept as spoken, for example "Toh basically maine 2019 mein job chhodi".

When is Diveo the better choice?

When you publish many short clips every day and want one flat monthly fee with unlimited videos. Also when templates matter more to you than languages: Diveo has more of them and lets you save your own brand template. It accepts MKV, WebM and AVI uploads, and its free plan gives you 3 exports again every month. CapsAI's free minutes are a one-time start.

Can I caption videos longer than 5 minutes?

On CapsAI, yes, up to 10 minutes per upload on any pack. Diveo's pricing caps each video at 1 minute on Free and Starter and 5 minutes on Pro.

Is CapsAI a subscription?

No. Each pack is a single payment for a fixed number of upload minutes. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.

Do free exports have a watermark?

On CapsAI, watermark-free export comes with every paid pack, and the pricing page lists what each pack includes. Diveo's own pages disagree: the Free plan card lists no watermarks, while its FAQ says upgrading removes the watermark.

Is there a phone app for either one?

Neither has a native app today. CapsAI works in phone and desktop browsers. Diveo also runs in the browser, and its FAQ says desktop is where editing works best.

Which one should you pick?

Pick CapsAI if your videos run longer than a minute, if you speak Tamil, Telugu, Bengali or another Indian language besides Hindi on camera, or if you post a few times a week and would rather pay for the minutes you use than for a month or a year of access. Packs start at ₹49, each upload can be 10 minutes long, and you buy another pack only when you want more minutes.

Pick Diveo if you publish short clips every day and want one flat monthly price with unlimited videos, or if a large template library and saved brand templates matter more to you than language coverage. Its wider choice of upload formats is a real advantage too, and its paid plan cards list 30-day storage, though its FAQ says files are deleted 7 days after export.

How we compared them

Prices, limits and features come from each product's own website on 15 October 2026: Diveo's homepage, pricing section and FAQ, the language list in its web app, and CapsAI's pricing page. Diveo's editor needs a sign-in, so we did not run a clip through it, and we did not score accuracy, which depends on your audio. Where Diveo's own pages disagree, as they do on free-plan watermarks, free-plan limits and how long files are kept, we used the plan card and said so.
