Subtitle generator
Subtitle Generator Without a Watermark
Watermark-free export comes with every paid pack on CapsAI. The smallest is Starter: 20 minutes of captioning from $4 (₹49 in India, €4 in the euro area), paid once, with nothing that renews. Upload an MP4 or MOV of up to 10 minutes, pick one of 11 spoken languages, correct the draft in the browser editor, choose a style and export an MP4 with the captions burned in at 1080p, or up to 4K on the Creator and Pro packs. The phrase "free subtitle generator, no watermark" describes a trade every tool makes differently. Some remove the watermark from a free export but cap the video at one minute or 720p. Some keep the watermark on the free video and give you a clean SRT instead. Some are free and clean up to a length limit. This page sets out those conditions as each company stated them on 18 October 2026, so you can pick the trade that fits the videos you make.
Start with 3 free minutes. Watermark-free export comes with every paid pack.

What the captions look like
Client deliverable
Our new collection drops Friday at 10 a.m. IST.
A brand video goes out under the client's name, so a tool's logo in the corner is a problem. Any pack exports clean; check the time and the abbreviation in the editor first.
Portfolio Reel
Shot on a phone, edited on a train, posted before lunch.
A clean export matters most on the clips that represent your work. A word-by-word style suits a line with this rhythm.
Course lesson
Pause here and try the exercise before you continue.
Course platforms show your video next to your name. Captions burned in with no overlay look like part of the lesson, not an advert for the tool.
Hinglish product demo
Is feature ko on karte hi captions apne aap aa jaate hain.
Hinglish is a spoken-language option on CapsAI. Of the tools in the table, none lists Hinglish, and only Choppity and Adobe Express name Hindi.

How it works
How it works
Step 1
Test on the free minutes first
Sign in and caption a short clip with the 3 free minutes. Judge the words, timing and styles on your own audio before you spend anything.
Step 2
Buy the pack that fits
Starter is 20 minutes from $4 (₹49 in India, €4 in the euro area) at 1080p. Creator is 60 minutes from $9 with 4K export and AI emoji sync. Pro is 180 minutes from $19. Each is paid once.
Step 3
Upload and caption
MP4 or MOV, up to 10 minutes per video and up to 10 GB per file on a pack. Choose the spoken language; the draft is written from the audio and placed on the timeline.
Step 4
Fix the draft and pick a style
Read the captions against the video, correct names and numbers, and choose from 37 styles. Nothing you do in the editor uses minutes.
Step 5
Export the clean MP4
The export carries your captions and nothing else. Download it within 3, 7 or 15 days, depending on the pack, and post the same file on every platform.

Questions
How do I export without a watermark on CapsAI?
Buy any pack. Watermark-free export comes with every paid pack, starting with Starter at 20 minutes from $4 (₹49 in India, €4 in the euro area). It is a one-time purchase, so the clean export does not depend on a subscription staying active.
Is there a free subtitle generator with no watermark?
Yes, with conditions. On 18 October 2026 Choppity said it was "completely free for up to 1 hour of video content" with "no watermarks", burned-in only, account required. Adobe Express said "Add captions to your videos for free" with no watermark per Adobe, capped at 5 minutes and 1 GB per video in an October 2026 read. Zeemo's free plan, checked 17 October 2026, had no watermark but capped caption videos at 1 minute and 720p.
Does Kapwing remove the watermark for free?
No. Kapwing's subtitle page says "If you are using Kapwing on a Free account then all exports — including from our subtitles maker — will contain a watermark", and its pricing page lists Free as "Unlimited exports with a watermark" at 720p with exports up to 4 minutes long (both read 18 October 2026). A paid plan removes it; Pro is listed at $16 with 1,000 credits a month.
What does Caption X mean by watermark-free?
The subtitle file, not the video. Its studio page says "Free exports carry a small CaptionX watermark (Pro removes it); the SRT subtitle file is always watermark-free" (18 October 2026). If you want a clean burned-in video from Caption X, that is the Pro plan; if an SRT is enough, it is free.
What resolution is the clean export?
1080p on Starter, and up to 4K on Creator and Pro. Export resolution matches your upload at or below that ceiling; a 1080p phone recording exports at 1080p on any pack. Kapwing's Free plan exports at 720p and Zeemo's free plan exported at 720p when checked.
Can I get a watermark-free SRT from CapsAI?
No. CapsAI does not export SRT, VTT or TXT on any plan; the output is an MP4 with the captions burned in. Caption X and Clipchamp both offered free SRT downloads on 18 October 2026. The TXT to SRT and SRT to VTT tools on this site convert files you already have.
How much does a pack cost and does it renew?
Starter 20 minutes from $4 (₹49 in India, €4 in the euro area), Creator 60 minutes from $9 (₹99, €9), Pro 180 minutes from $19 (₹299, €19). Paid once. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Exported projects stay available for 3, 7 or 15 days respectively.
Is there a free trial before I pay?
Every new account has 3 free minutes of captioning with the full editor and all 11 languages. Use them to check the draft on your own voice. Buy a pack when you are satisfied with the words and want the clean export.
How long does the export take?
A few minutes for a short clip. Upload depends on your connection, the captioning runs after that, and the export renders the captions into the video. Reading the draft is usually the longest step.
Three kinds of "no watermark"
Read the fine print and the phrase splits three ways. The first is free and clean up to a cap: Choppity with an hour of video, Adobe Express with 5 minutes and 1 GB per video, Zeemo with 1 minute at 720p. The second is a clean file but a marked video: Caption X puts a small watermark on free exports and keeps the SRT clean, so you get a free subtitle file but not a free finished video. The third is a watermark on everything until you pay: Kapwing on its Free account, by its own FAQ.
CapsAI is a fourth shape. Watermark-free export comes with every paid pack, the packs start from $4 (₹49 in India, €4 in the euro area), and you pay once. There is no monthly plan whose lapse would bring a watermark back, and no 720p ceiling: Starter exports 1080p and Creator and Pro export up to 4K.
Which trade fits your videos
If you post a clip under a minute now and then and your language is on its list, Zeemo's free plan costs nothing. If your videos run to a few minutes and 720p is fine, Adobe Express is free and clean up to 5 minutes. If you have an hour of footage to caption once, Choppity is free for that hour. If what you need is an SRT, Caption X gives you one for free.
If you post regularly, want 1080p or 4K, speak Hinglish, Hindi or another Indian language, and would rather not watch a subscription, a CapsAI pack is the fit: a Creator pack is 60 minutes from $9 (₹99 in India, €9 in the euro area), enough for roughly 60 one-minute Reels, paid once.
