Video caption generator
Bangla Caption Generator
This Bangla caption generator listens to the Bangla spoken in your video and writes it as captions in Bengali script, timed to the speech, ready for Facebook and YouTube Shorts. It runs in Chrome on an Android phone or any browser on a computer: no app to find, no APK to sideload, nothing to install. Upload one MP4 or MOV of up to 10 minutes, choose Bengali as the spoken language (Bangla and Bengali are the same language, বাংলা; the menu says Bengali), and a draft appears in the editor. Read it against the audio, fix any word, pick a caption style and export one MP4 with the captions burned into the picture. Three minutes are free on a new account; after that a pack of minutes is paid once, $4 for 20 minutes, with nothing that renews.
Start with 3 free minutes. Watermark-free export comes with every paid pack.
Upload Video
For best results, upload a video with clear speech. You can review and edit the captions after generation.
Drag and drop video or
MP4 or MOV, any aspect ratio.
Bengali subtitle example: এটি একটি প্রিভিউ সাবটাইটেল ডিজাইনের এখনই ট্রান্সক্রাইব করুন আপনার ভিডিও পেতে

What the captions look like
Facebook reel, talking to camera
আজকে আমি আপনাদের সাথে একটা সহজ রেসিপি শেয়ার করবো।
A two-line style such as Beast (free) sits in the middle band of a 9:16 frame, clear of the Facebook reaction column. Check that conjuncts and the া and ে matras survived.
YouTube Short, fast tips
তিনটা ভুল যেগুলো নতুন ইউটিউবাররা সবসময় করে।
Decide whether তিনটা stays in words or becomes ৩টা, then keep that choice for the whole video. Story (free) keeps a short line readable at phone size.
Dhaka street food vlog
মোহাম্মদপুরের এই ফুচকাটা পুরো ঢাকায় সেরা, বিশ্বাস করেন।
Place names such as মোহাম্মদপুর are where a first draft slips. Newsroom (free) is a lower-third style that holds a long place name on one line over busy footage.
Bangla with English words inside
এই ফোনের ক্যামেরা quality আসলেই অনেক ভালো।
English words spoken inside Bangla usually come out in Bengali letters (কোয়ালিটি). Retype them in English letters if that is how your viewers read them, and keep it consistent. Frost (Pro) handles both scripts on one line.
What you get
- Bangla auto captions without an app: nothing from Google Play or an APK site, and the same tool on a phone and a laptop
- Captions in Bengali script with conjuncts and vowel signs drawn as one shape, previewed before export
- Every word, time and line break editable, so a place name or a Sylheti word is corrected before anyone sees it
- Captions burned into the video, so they show on Facebook, YouTube Shorts and WhatsApp forwards with no caption setting
- Minutes paid once in USD, $4 for 20 minutes, with no monthly plan to cancel
Where it helps
- Bangladeshi Facebook creators posting reels and page videos for viewers who scroll with the sound off on a bus or at work
- YouTube Shorts in Bangla: tech, recipes, study tips and comedy, where the first second of text decides whether the viewer stays
- Islamic lecture and waz clips cut from long recordings, where Arabic terms and names need a careful read before export
How it works
How it works
Step 1
Open the page in your browser and upload
Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone or any desktop browser. Sign in with Google or an email code and upload one MP4 or MOV of up to 10 minutes (500 MB on a free account, 10 GB with a pack). Links cannot be imported; save the clip to the phone first.
Step 2
Choose Bengali as the spoken language
Bengali is preselected when you arrive from this page. It is the Bangla option: the model listens for Bangla and writes Bengali script. There is no separate Bangladesh setting and no translation into English.
Step 3
Read the draft with the audio playing
Every caption is editable text with a typed start and end time. Play the video and read along; names, places, numbers and English words are where the draft needs you most.
Step 4
Fix conjuncts, matras and spellings once
Tap a word and retype it; the timing stays attached. Settle one spelling for words you say often, such as করবো or করব, and apply it throughout. If a conjunct looks wrong, paste the line into the free Bengali font preview tool to tell a font problem from a text problem.
Step 5
Pick a style, export one MP4
Choose one of 37 caption styles, 8 of them free, preview it on your own Bangla text and export an MP4 with the captions burned in, 1080p on Starter and up to 4K on Creator and Pro. Upload it to Facebook or YouTube like any other video.

Questions
Is there a Bangla auto caption app or APK from CapsAI?
No. CapsAI is a website. Open capsai.co in Chrome on your Android phone, sign in and upload the video; there is nothing on Google Play, no APK and no installer. Google's Play Protect help page says you may be asked to scan an app from outside Google Play that it has never scanned before; a web page never raises that question.
Is the Bangla caption generator free?
A new account gets 3 free minutes. After that you buy a pack once: Starter 20 minutes for $4, Creator 60 minutes for $9, Pro 180 minutes for $19. Visitors in Bangladesh pay in USD; in India the Starter pack is ₹49. No subscription, so nothing renews on its own.
Does it write Bangla in Bengali script or in English letters?
Bengali script. Bangla speech comes out as বাংলা captions with conjunct letters (juktakkhor), vowel signs and the headline drawn correctly in the caption styles. English words inside Bangla usually come out in Bengali letters too; retype them in the editor if you prefer.
Does it understand Bangladeshi Bangla, or only Kolkata Bangla?
The Bengali option is one speech model for the whole language. We publish no accuracy figure for any region and make no claim about Sylheti, Chittagonian or Noakhali speech. Run your own clip through the 3 free minutes and read the draft before you commit to a pack.
Can it translate my Bangla video into English captions?
No. CapsAI captions the language that is spoken, so Bangla speech becomes Bangla captions. There is no translation, no English track and no bilingual export.
Can I download a Bangla SRT file?
No. The export is one MP4 with the captions burned into the picture; SRT, VTT and text transcripts are not produced. A Bangla subtitle file you already have can be edited and converted with the free browser tools under /tools.
How do I put Bangla captions on a Facebook reel or a YouTube Short?
Caption the clip here, export the MP4 and upload that file to Facebook or YouTube as you would any video. The captions are part of the picture, so they show with no caption setting; keep them in the middle band of a vertical frame, clear of the buttons.
What do Bangla auto caption apps on Google Play actually do?
On 2 November 2026 a Google Play search for "bangla auto caption" in Bangladesh returned Captions AI - Auto Captions first (developer Music Video Editor with Effects & Slideshow, 4.8 stars from 11.4K reviews, "Contains ads", "In-app purchases"); its listing named English, Hindi, Spanish, French and Portuguese, not Bangla. Most other results were Bangla status and quote apps. We did not test any of them on Bangla audio.
Why the search says app and APK, and why a browser page is the answer
Almost every Bangla search for this tool ends in app, apk or free, because the obvious place to look on an Android phone is Google Play, and when Play has no clear answer the next search is for an APK. On 2 November 2026 a Play search for "bangla auto caption" from Bangladesh returned one general caption app first, Captions AI - Auto Captions, whose listing names English, Hindi, Spanish, French and Portuguese and not Bangla, followed by a run of Bangla status and quote apps that write the text under a post and never listen to a video.
CapsAI is a web page instead. Open it in Chrome on the same phone, upload the clip from the gallery, and the captioning happens on CapsAI's servers rather than on the handset, so a budget phone with little storage does the job as well as a flagship. Nothing is installed, and the same account and projects are there in a laptop browser. The captions app page explains the no-app position for every language.
Bangla, Bengali and the option you choose
Bangla and Bengali are two names for one language, বাংলা: Bangla is what its speakers call it, Bengali is the English name, and the CapsAI language menu uses Bengali. Whichever you typed into the search box, the option to pick is Bengali and the captions come out in Bengali script. The sibling Bengali subtitle generator page describes the same option for Indian creators; this page is written for Bangladesh, where the word is Bangla, the platforms are Facebook and YouTube Shorts and the prices are in US dollars. The language is set once per video, with no mixed setting and no translation either way.
Bengali script in captions: juktakkhor, matras and the checker
Bengali script asks more of a caption renderer than Latin text. Conjunct letters (juktakkhor such as ক্ষ, ন্ত, স্ট) must be drawn as one shape, vowel signs attach before, after, above or below the consonant (the ি in কি sits to the left of the letter it follows in speech), and the headline runs along the top of the word. CapsAI's styles use fixed fonts that draw Bengali script, and the editor preview is what the burned-in MP4 carries.
Read the draft for a swapped conjunct or a dropped vowel sign, which only a native reader notices. When a line looks wrong and you cannot tell whether the text or the font is at fault, paste it into the free Bengali subtitle font preview: it draws the line at subtitle size over dark, light and busy backgrounds and counts replacement characters. The fonts for Bengali subtitles post covers fonts for captions styled elsewhere.
Facebook and YouTube Shorts in Bangladesh
Facebook is where most Bangladeshi creators find their audience, and reels and page videos autoplay silently in the feed. A viewer on a bus in Mirpur decides in the first second whether to read on, and a Bangla caption already on the picture survives a WhatsApp forward because it is part of the video. The Facebook subtitle generator page covers placement for the feed and reels. On YouTube Shorts, keep the text in the middle band of the 9:16 frame, clear of the title and the like and share column; the YouTube Shorts caption generator page shows the exact band. Bangla words run long, so prefer two short lines broken where the speaker breathes.
Pricing in USD, paid once
CapsAI does not bill in taka, so a visitor in Bangladesh sees US dollars: 3 free minutes, then Starter 20 minutes for $4, Creator 60 minutes for $9 and Pro 180 minutes for $19, each paid once with no monthly plan and nothing to cancel. Watermark-free export comes with every paid pack, Starter exports at 1080p and Creator and Pro up to 4K, and the 29 Pro styles open with any pack. Use the free minutes to see whether the Bengali option handles your voice: read the draft and count the words you changed before you buy. The free subtitle generator page lists what the 3 minutes include; the caption generator page shows all eleven language options.
